18 Partner Workouts for you and your Valentine

11 February, 2015 by Giselle Rochford 16 Comments

Hey Friends! How it goin?

I’ve been in a chocolate induced coma for the last couple days. Where’s still half a week away from Valentine’s Day and I’m already almost done with the batch of dairy-free chocolate bark I made over the weekend. Oops. That’s the bad news. The good news is that I’ve got another Valentine’s-esque post for ya today.

Have a sweaty Valentine’s Day this year with one of these partner workouts #fitfam

18 partner workouts to help you celebrate Valentine's Day or just spice up your fitness routine

Sometimes I enjoy going to the gym alone. If I’m in a mood to go hard with no distractions or interruptions, I head to the gym with just myself, my water bottle and my iPod. But most days, I enjoy having someone with me. Someone to push me when I’m slacking off. Someone to encourage me to do my best. And, of course, someone to take gym selfies with.

So today, I’m sharing a list of partner workouts from around the interwebs that you and your workout buddy can do together. Whether you workout with your s/o or a friend, these exercises are a great way to add a little spice to your fitness routine and shake things up a bit. So, this Valentine’s Day (or any day really) grab your fav workout budde and get to work. Enjoy!

I wish my boyfriend and I could work out together! These look so fun!

He’s much more fit than I am, so I just get frustrated when I can’t keep up. We work out at the same time, but not together.

No workout buddies for this girl, but there are times when i could definitely use one. Like when I’m forced to go on the treadmill thanks to the beauty that is Canadian winter and I’m starting to die a little on the inside from boredom. Or when I can’t motivate my butt to leave my warm couch and blanket and go work out. But at the same times it’s nice to just have that me time when I can zone out and live in my own little world for a while.

      Hi Jill!
I actually do have a link back to the post on Jessica’s blog. It just got shoved down below the pinterest board at the bottom of the post. Thanks for pointing out how easy it is to miss though! I’ll add right below my signature instead next time so it’s more visible.

What a fun round up! I make a HIIT workout for my boyfriend to do in the apartment every Sunday. If I’m not running, I’ll join in. I’ll have to mix in some of these partner moves next time I do 🙂
