3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies & Giveaway Winner

1 March, 2014 by Giselle Rochford 8 Comments

Hey There Friends! How’s it goin?

Before I get to the peanut butter cookies and the winner of the In the Dance Fitness Jamaica giveaway, I’ve got something to say:

Happy National Peanut Butter Lovers' Day | ExSloth.com

Did you know that today is National Peanut Butter Lovers Day? I sure didn’t!

If you’ve known about this awesome day all your life and even have it marked in your calendar, you’ll have to forgive me! Remember, I haven’t always been a peanut butter lover ๐Ÿ˜•

Anyway, I found out about this yesterday and immediately decided I should stop studying and start baking the perfect peanut butter cookies.ย

Here was my first attempt:

Dry Peanut Butter Cookier | ExSloth.com

Unfortunately, as lovely as they looked, these peanut butter cookies were wayyy too dry and a bit of a flop ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

So after finishing my flour, and wasting about 1/2 cup of PB ๐Ÿ˜ฏ I went back to studying YAY! <— that yay is more sarcastic than any sarcastic yay there ever was ๐Ÿ˜

But this morning I woke up and was determined to make the best damn Peanut Butter Cookies the world has ever tasted. Or at least the most moist peanut butter cookies ๐Ÿ˜‰ So I tried again.ย

The end result:

3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

Quick & Easy 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies | ExSloth.com

I know I know. These are not as pretty…but man are the tasty ๐Ÿ˜€

And the best part? These peanut butter cookies are easier to make and are definitely better for you! SCORE ๐Ÿ˜†

1 bowl, 3 Ingredients (+ mixins if you wanna jazz them up), 10 mins in the oven and you are D-O-N-E!

What’s not to love? ๐Ÿ˜€

Usually when I’m baking, I’m so busy actually baking that picture taking is the last thing on my mind. But, since these peanut butter cookies were so easy to make, I had time for a couple action shots ๐Ÿ˜€

The ingredients:

After mixing it all together & folding in a handful of chocolate chips:

Peanut Butter Cookie Dough | ExSloth.comAll you do next is spoon out generous ‘balls’ of dough onto a greased baking sheet, bake for 10 mins and voila, super yummy peanut butter cookiesย ๐Ÿ˜€

The recipe made 12 and I’ve already eaten 4 ๐Ÿ˜ณ My day is clearly off to a great start ๐Ÿ˜‰

Easy, moist, three ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies that take all of 15 minutes to prepare!
Author: GiselleR
Serves: 12
Ingredients
  • 1 cup rolled oats*
  • ⅓ cup natural peanut butter
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • Optional: 2 Tbs mix ins like semi sweet chocolate chips, peanut butter chips or nuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350C
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, peanut butter and bananas until well incorporated
  3. Fold in any additional mix ins
  4. Spoon out equal sized balls of dough onto a greased cookie sheet. These cookies will not spread so make sure you have enough for a good sized cookie.
  5. Bake for about 10 minutes and allow to cool slightly (1 -2 mins) before devouring!
Notes
*I ground my oats up a little before using them so the cookies would hold better

That’s how I make mine, too! Love them. I also love to add coconut flakes or you could do mint chocolate chips mmmmm!

I know! I was so excited when they came out of the oven. I took all the pretty pictures and then it turned to sawdust in my mouth with the first bite ๐Ÿ™
Live and learn I guess lol
