3 reasons to attend a health & fitness expo + a giveaway

7 August, 2015 by Giselle Rochford 11 Comments

As you may know, I’ve never been to a health and fitness conference before. However, I have lived vicariously though the millions (sight exaggeration) of conference and expo recaps written by fellow bloggers. And, while many aspects of those recaps are similar, most people’s reasons for enjoying the expos tend to differ.

I haven’t gone yet, obviously, but I’ve been thinking about which part of the canfitpro world fitness expo I’ll enjoy the most. I’ve already written posts of the expo hall sessions I’m most interested in attending, as well as the presenters I’m most interested in seeing/interviewing (Tosca Reno anyone?!),  but there’s a lot more about the event than sessions and presentations. So today, I wanted to share a few things I think I’ll look forward to at not only this expo, but any I go to in the future.

1. Visiting Exhibitors

Over 150 health and fitness related companies will have exhibition booths set up at the canfitpro world fitness expo and to say I’m excited about that would be an understatement. Not only will some of my favourite brands/companies be there, but I saw a lot of new-to-me brands and brands I know other bloggers love on the exhibitor list as well. A few booths that looked interesting were Simply Protein, Fitness Boxing Canada Inc., POUND and JOGA, but you can check out the full list of exhibitors here.

2. Meeting likeminded people

A few of my friends are into heath and fitness, but the majority of them aren’t. I’m not the best at mingling and networking but I’m willing to step out of my comfort zone at the event if it means meeting new people who are as excited about healthy living as I am. Plus, I know that a few healthy and fitness bloggers and influencers will be attending and it’s always great to meet other bloggers in real life.

3. Chatting with professionals

I go to the gym so I come into contact with loads of fitness professionals on a daily basis. But, many the exhibitors at the canfitpro world fitness expo will be nutrition focused as well. If you’ve ever looked through my archives you’d know how much nutrition interests me, and I’ve even considered a nutrition certification in the past. So, chatting with representatives from institutions like, Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and The Institution of Holistic Nutrition will be pretty epic in my opinion.

Giveaway

Once again, canfitpro was awesome enough to offer one lucky ready a free one-day registration (value of $388 per registration and includes access to the Expo Hall). Details on how to enter are below.

You’ve pretty much nailed it. Though I’ll say, I’ve been to a lot of fitness expos and one of my favorite parts is the people watching. And the fitness class watching (which is really watching people exercise, so the same thing).

You may not practice every day in the gym,but you must maintain your health. Get rid of bad habits will help you https://drvorobjev.com/, and with the rest of the you must cope themselves, and introduce in daily rituals only useful habits

As a big fan of procrastination, I was constantly late with my assignments. But ever since I found my trusted expert here, I am now the first to hand in homework. Grades are good. Thanks a lot!
