25 Deliciously Healthy Breakfasts to Enjoy this Fall

3 November, 2014 by Giselle Rochford 28 Comments

Hey Friends! How’s it goin?

This weekend was a little insane for me, filled with lots of food shopping, lots of cooking, lots of baking and of course, lots of eating. By Sunday morning, I was stuffed to the gills and regretting some of my food decisions. It wasn’t that I had gone out and bought fast food or anything like that, but since it got way too cold all of a sudden (it snowed on Friday!) my body was craving all the carbs, and I obliged.

When I thought about it a little more, I realised that my problem stemmed all the way from breakfast- or lack thereof. For the last couple days, I’ve been waking up utterly uninspired and uninterested in anything breakfast related. I’d eat toast alone with my coffee for the rest of the day, I’d have an ‘eat all the food’ mentality because I was so damn hungry. Not good.

So, today I’m sharing a list of Deliciously Healthy Fall Breakfast Recipes that I’m going to turn to whenever I need some breakfast inspiration. These recipes should help me jumpstart my day and get me out of the eating rut I’ve been in since it started getting colder.

Enjoy!

I totally need to switch up from my boring “morning snack plate” (nuts, english muffin toasted with cheese, and some fruit). Love the list!

I fall into food ruts all the time. I have found stocking up on new veggies forces me to be creative. I will also look for new ways to enjoy things- like oatmeal for example.

That happened to me yesterday. I had way too much asparagus after going crazy at the farmers’ market so I had to find a way to eat it with every meal. Ended up making a sweet potato scramble with asparagus and it was amazing. Yay for extra veggies!

So many great options – where to start? I definitely get into food ruts. My issue is with lunch. As in, I never eat it. Then I’m starving by 4pm and I end up eating junk until the Mr. comes home for dinner. I’m thinking I can use one of these recipes for lunch!

Urgh, I want to call you a twat for giving me so much variety but apparently, people up north get offended by that? Can I call you a twat?

It’s in the most positive way. I just wanted to say, your pancake bake is on my to make list.
