Pineapple Quinoa Green Smoothie

This pineapple quinoa green smoothie is creamy, refreshing, filling and packs a protein punch thanks to the quinoa.
  • 1 banana, frozen
  • 1 cup pineapple, fresh or frozen
  • 1 heaping cup baby spinach
  • ½ cup cooked quinoa*
  • 1 cup unsweetened non dairy milk (I used coconut)
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth
  2. Pour into a glass, garnish with extra pineapple if desired, and drink immediately
*I used white quinoa, but any variation will do, although the colour of the smoothie may end up being different
